We have a salary dynasty league that has been going on for over ten years that needs some new owners. Old age and family has taken away some of our owners, so we are down to 8 owners in a twelve team league. The cost of the league is $50 with 100% payback to the top three teams in the league and the season wins leader. This is a standard 5x5 scoring format with a minor league roster option. Lots of Brewer fans in the league.

 

Our idea for new owners is to have an expansion draft with the following rules:

Existing owners can submit a full set of keepers for this year. ( this is limited to a set dollar and at most existing teams can keep 8 players from last year)

Any new owners can pluck any remaining players left over from each teams roster from last year. If they decide to take any players, they would be at the salary levels from last years roster plus the salary increase due for 2017. Also new owners are free to take any players from the teams not returning and any free agents from last year.

 

This is a very active league with great owners. We are hoping to fill these slots quickly, and any new owners would have to pay dues before a team slot is reserved. The expansion draft section pick order will be determined by the first teams paying dues for this year. I'm looking for a league this year, was in a dynasty that folded last year. Will fill a dynasty slot if the scoring is decent.
I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Does anyone use Fangraphs as a study tool? Any word on when they are going to release their player profiles for 2017? I found them really useful last season.

Supposedly our boy Gomez is going to be starting CF for the Rangers. Finished last year strong and has been hitting well in the spring. Can probably get him with one of your last picks. If it's categories he'll at least help in SBs as long as he keeps playing.

I've signed up for 2 leagues that are new to me this year. They are Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Baseball and Fox Sports Fantasy Baseball, which they are both free. Last year and several years prior I was apart of a free league through MLB.com. It was just call Fantasy Baseball 2016, but unfortunately they've discontinued the league.

 

Between the 2 leagues, Yahoo and Fox Sports, I'd recommend the Fox Soorts league over Yahoo! The Fox league is much more user friendly. To be honest, I'm not even sure I'll keep the Yahoo team because the format is just that bad. Joining leagues with either is easy because you can join immediately and start drafting a team within 5-10 minutes.

I'm being offered Arenado straight up for Judge in a keeper league. I know that would be selling high on Judge, but I'm not sure he isn't a generational power hitter. Probably am deeper at OF than 3b
