Looking for a hotel close to a CTA line, out of the city a bit, for a concert this next summer. Any suggestions?

There are a bunch of hotels by O'Hare next to the Blue Line. You can take that downtown, transfer at Jackson and take Red Line north to Wrigley.

 

There isn't really anything right on the red line hotel wise unless you want to pay an arm and a leg. You could potentially look into Evanston area and take purple line south and transfer to red line.

 

Might help to know what direction you are coming from and if you are driving or flying.

 

Also Air BnB might be an option and get you a lot closer to Wrigley.

AirBnB is the way to go in Chicago. Cheaper than hotels and a lot of options in areas without hotels (like Wrigleyville). I'm in Chicago a few times a year and rarely stay in a hotel anymore.
