I like the idea of Matt Joyce as backup corner OF, LH threat off the bench. He could fill in for Braun or Santana and lessen the need to keep around Nieuwenhuis. With Perez as an option to backup in CF and Brinson at the ready should Broxton falter or be injured, they could use a better extra bat.

You started a thread and said about the same exact thing almost a month ago. Just as a heads up. That thread didn't gain much traction, so this one might not either.

 

I have always liked Joyce for some reason, so I wouldn't mind it, but with the apparent love of Nieuwenhuis I imagine they wont.
