As long as Molina is still playing he's going to win it for catcher. Why even bother having finalists.

I would be happy for Lucroy if he won. And I recognize that it's for his work in the NL as a Brewer. But it would just be an individual award at this point, as far as the Brewers are concerned.

 

It's not like they can market Lucroy's accomplishment in any way.

 

No bobblehead, no t-shirt, no on-field ceremony.

 

Still, it would be cool, since he is a cool guy.
