That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Will definitely be interesting to see who gets a bigger contract between Kenley & Aroldis.

Kenley just turned 29 and has 408 career innings with 13.92 K9, 2.62 BB9, 0.66 HR9 and a 2.20 ERA (169 ERA+).

Aroldis will turn 29 before opening day and has 377 career innings with 15.18 K9, 4.13 BB9 & 0.45 HR9 and a 2.08 ERA (192 ERA+).

Andrew Miller got 4/36 two years ago but he really had only had one truly dominant season at that point & the relief market has definitely taken off in the two years since. 5/100 seems like the probable floor for Kenley & Aroldis.

Kluber in game #4.

If series continues, it is most likely Rookie Ryan Merritt (LHP) in game #5 then Josh Tomlin in game #6. Kluber again in game #7 as all hands on deck if needed.

3 guys, all who started games throughout the season in AAA and a few spot starts in the majors are still in the bullpen: Mike Clevinger (RHP), Cody Anderson (RHP) and Ryan Merritt..

Bauer MIGHT be available for an inning or so w/ game 7 if necessary. He has more recovery time from being pulled from this game to start of game 7 then he did from sustaining the injury (on Friday morning) to making start tonight.

Here's an interesting article on the Dodgers' upcoming starters…

'As it stands right now' Clayton Kershaw won't pitch for Dodgers until NLCS Game 6

As it stands now, Kenta Maeda will pitch in Game 5 on Thursday. But it's possible that Kershaw could pitch on short rest. The decision is likely to be based on bullpen usage today.

Julio Urías, today's starter, has never pitched into the seventh inning in the majors. And Maeda has been more effective with longer rest. In Kenta's 13 starts this year on four days rest, his ERA was 3.97. In his 19 starts five or more days rest, his ERA was 3.16. That makes sense when one considers that in Japan, starters generally pitch on six days rest.

I find it funny that during the regular season the line is "you can't mess with a starter's routine" by pitching them on long or short rest. But once the playoffs start, and games are more important, all of that is thrown out the window and some guys go a week without throwing while others start every other day.

Tribe rolling into the World Series.

Great job by catcher Roberto Perez throughout this postseason behind the plate (& a few moments with the bat). Enjoyed the respect Ripken & Darling were giving him on the TV feed.

Sometimes the best trades are those not made..

Any former Brewers still left in this post-season???

This marks the 4th time in last 5 seasons team from AL Central makes the World Series.

Detroit in 2012, KC in 2014 & 2015, now Cleveland in 2016...

Pitching to Russell the first time was gutsy. However after he nearly hits it out the first time you don't pitch to him the next time with the pitcher on deck. Easily the most idiotic managerial decision I have seen in a very long time. That is not only the kind of decision that puts you down another two runs, but one that swings momentum. Whoops.
