The Brewers would be lucky to get out of col springs. But they will need to buy a club to do that.

Any idea as to how much let's say buying Colorado Springs franchise would be? Asking for a friend.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

In 2014, members of the Dodgers ownership bought the Oklahoma City reportedly for between 23-25 million. So probably around that.

AUDIO via WTMJ's Matt Pauley's "Extra Innings" Podcast Sun. 2/19: "Matt is joined by "Brew Crew Ball" managing editor Kyle Lesniewski to preview the 2017 season. Matt is also joined by Greg Young, the voice of the Carolina Mudcats, who will serve as the Brewers' High-A affiliate for the first season. Matt also looks back at the week that was with his headlines of the week."

Young does a good job of discussing Carolina park conditions and more in his interview, which begins at the 25:25 minute mark (full podcats listen still worthwhile).
