Sounds like the Brewers probably did their homework on Erceg before drafting him. Looks like a steal to get 1st round talent in the 2nd round.

 

The rebuild has been full of top prospects coming to the Brewers, but part of me is always like "oh great another shortstop or outfielder has been added to our system". It's fun to see a guy performing so well offensively AND defensively at a real position of need in our system, and he's got a great story to root for personally.

 

Can't wait to see more of this kid.
