Shuckers forced into must-win after 10-0 loss to Braves

Biloxi must win final three with Braves to keep playoff hopes alive

Javier Betancourt picked up Biloxi's lone hit in the sixth inning on Friday night (Jason Clark)

Biloxi Boxscore

Complete domination by Sean Newcomb = not many positives.

Jon Perrin got completely lit up, and Tayler Scott threw more gas on the fire when he come on in relief. Josh Uhen has much better in AA than he was at A+, it's unreal how bad the pitching in BC has been given the extreme pitchers park they play in at home.

Well that was anti-climatic, damn... on to the 12th. I probably won't cover my post about the T-Rats until the morning.

Diaz 0-3 with runners on base in extras. And I'm not leaving

I went to that 14 inning game last month and wow does it take some motivation to watch that much MiLB baseball. In Kane County nearly everyone was gone, the players looked ready for bed, the food stands were closed, and you literally could hear the crickets chirping and urinals flushing.

Corey Ray finishing up a solid aggressive placement with a chance to push his average over .250 on the year. Overall I can't really complain with him starting at Brevard. His stats aren't crazy, but he finished strong and showed a good amount of power for where he was playing.

With absolutely no protection whatsoever in that line-up.( Coming from someone who thinks the whole protection thing is way overrated.)

And yes it's freezing cold. Stands are closed. Fireworks long ago cancelled. Even Fang is too tired for any more antics. Dancing Homer would have packed it in by now.

Donny collects multiple quotes on RHP Devin Williams which should have us as confident as Williams seems to be...

Brevard County Box Score

Not only do LHP Clint Terry and RHP Jon Olczak sport nice relief lines, they combined to strand all three inherited runners; first home win in nearly a month, wow...

Probably too late for a promotion but wow has Aaron Myers been dominant this year. He's 23...if he starts out hot at Wisconsin next year I'd bet he gets bumped rather quickly. Or maybe they send him to Brevard right away.

Final: Helena 11, Missoula 1

Helena Independent Record game summary for this road affair, still worth your read...

Helena Box Score

Well, you just frame this one and wish there had been a lot more like it.

As you just read, Demi Orimoloye clubbed a grand slam; Gilbert Lara singled twice and drove in three; check out Wes Wilson's defensive stats, with this game in CF, he's now only short of playing catcher and pitcher to complete the season sweep of positions...

Helena Game Log

Tulane's Emerson Gibbs, what a night, and followed up sweetly by birthday boy Aaron Myers, like we said, just frame this box score...
