Puig is about 1000x more talented than Kirk. I'd take a shot at it at this point in the rebuild. He could mature at some point. If it doesn't work out, let him go.

This is as good as Peralta has looked through 5 innings in years. His slider has been just nasty.....8 ks and 2 ground ball singles allowed

I was done with Wily as a Brewer in any form but he figured something out in Colorado Springs. Looks like he found 2-3 MPH on his fastball and a little more control.

Has Maldonado ever picked off a runner? He makes a lot of throws but I can't remember him ever actually getting someone out.

He is the Miller Park ballhawk. He is incredibly annoying like most and just sits out there by the Toyota pretty much every game. Thinks he is pretty cool obviously.

Take away two horrid appearances early in the year and Tyler Thornburg has given up 4 earned runs in 52 innings. Thats a crisp 0.69 ERA. He has given up 2 earned runs in about the last 2.5 months.

Elmore has a .371 OBP on the season - he has done a pretty good job of not getting out, exactly what you want from a PH.
