tmwiese55, I understand Prince can always be insured. But if the policy costs too much, then it's generally not worth it. Insuring his back was likely a costly endeavor for the Tigers and/or Rangers. Prince was an extremely obese baseball player with an extremely violent swing. 5'10" and 300 lbs.
