Just curious if anyone has any insight into his dramatic increase in strikeout rate. For a power arm, he never struck many out until this year. Plus his ground ball rate has skyrocketed. A new pitch? Better command?

i have no info, but would be interested to hear what other have to say. I would assume that playing in CS has made him more of a 1 pitch guy than anything, and maybe the focus on that has made it even better. He always had plus velocity, maybe now he has plus control of it also.

When he loses control...he's awful...walks a lot too...not what you want from a closer. When he's on...he's good.
