That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Other teams typically realign the rotation after the all star break......why in the world the Brewers start with one of their worst pitchers (against the Reds best) instead of Guerra, Nelson or Davies?

I was wondering the same. I have absolutely no idea.

My thought is we are still trying to showcase garza to get someone to take him so giving him as many satrts before the deadline as possible.
Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

That's probably it.....just seems like such a futile attempt that it pisses me off every time we throw him out there.

I'm sure you are probably right, but it's silly and futile if they are. Garza is worthless. If he became a FA today, he'd be lucky to get a major league contract. He'd be a candidate for a minor league deal like Lohse got.

Garza has an ERA near 6 in the last season and a half and is a sunk cost. A few more starts in July and August isn't going to change that
