Screened porch in Wisconsin

jerichoholicninja
My wife and I are considering putting in some sort of screened in shelter on our deck next spring. We don't want to actually build any structure off the house but I really don't want something that I'm going to have to assemble and disassemble every year. I assume our stupid winters are going to limit our options. Any Wisconsin (or winter climate) folks have any suggestions?

My folks converted from a screen porch to more of a sun room and get a good four months more time out of it. And it does seem like people gravitate to whatever room of the house has the most sunshine, so the sun porch is pretty popular. Granted, that's a significant price jump from the screen porch.

If something is going to be less-than permanent, would it be so bad to spend a couple hours a year setting it up and taking it down?

Without actually seeing a layout, I'd think that some sort of awning + mosquito curtains would be the easiest solution.

That's sort of what I'm thinking. The one we had on our trailer when I was a kid was out all summer and survived storms when we weren't there and wasn't too much of a pain to set up and take down.
