That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

For whatever reason, Anderson seems to pitch better at Miller Park than on the road (4.54 ERA at home vs 6.29 ERA on the road). Anderson's gopher ball tendencies have haunted him this year - let's hope he can keep the ball down.

This is the third time Gennett didn't keep his foot on second when attempting to turn a double play. The results of the review were correct. Still, the challenge needs to occur within 30 seconds to comply with the rules.

How long did he take? I turned the channel after I thought the half inning was over.

That's not really clear. TV came back from commercials, and the review was in progress.

The issue is that it occurred at the end of the inning, and that's where the umps are inconsistent about enforcing the 30-second rule. Had it not been the third out, Anderson would have likely thrown another pitch, negating the opportunity to challenge. With the third out, the part that sucks is that everyone's in the dugout, and using BA's words, the players are in "shutdown mode."

The answer to the trivia question is Larry Hisle (first Brewer to get a hit in the All Star Game).

That was my first time seeing Barnes pitch and I knew nothing of him. Pretty impressive. Throws hard anyway. I read he was a converted college infielder. Otherwise I didn't find much on him.

Anyone know how he projects? Is he viewed as part of the Brewers pitching staff or fill in for injuries?
