That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I'm here in STL. Looking like a rain delay type of a day, maybe cancelled all together. Talk about a bummer too as my high school team I coach were supposed to play a game after the Brewers/Cards but they've already informed us that we won't be.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Another day, another rain delay. The guys on TV seemed to be optimistic, but when I look at weather.com, I'm less hopeful. With the Brewers having to travel for a morning game tomorrow, I hope they don't try too hard to get this game in.

Brian and Bill claim that the game could have been started on time and that everyone was waiting for rain that didn't happen.

The drizzle is holding a few of these balls in the park for Anderson.

Team really doing everything badly right now.......so much for exceeding expectations and being fun to watch.

We are playing good teams now.

When we play teams that are tanking we are very competitive, when we play good teams we lose.

The tarp's being pulled with one out in the seventh and the bases loaded with Brewers. Craig is voicing his displeasure to the ump.

Yeah, but the Cards had lost 7 straight at home before the Brewers came to town. They're not that good, but they sure own the Brewers right now.

70 win pace halfway through the season. Pretty much right on target.

Of course, assuming we're unloading Lucroy + other top trade chips this month, that will be a tough pace to keep.

Either nobody was watching that 9th inning or we've all seen it enough times to know it's a tease.

I went swimming because it's a nice day and I didn't want to wait for the rain delay anymore.

I did hear most of the ninth inning in the car, but I have to go back and find out how the seventh inning fizzled.

Flores played a very nice game today. Great catch against the wall late and he really squared up the ball today.

We are astoundingly unclutch.

This indeed is our Achilles heel this season. We can get guys on base but have a devil of a time getting them home. And even tho we are more patient at the plate than in seasons past we are still striking out way too much. :(

They've always owned us. It is just sad how they beat us time and time again no matter how bad their team is. I can't stand those clowns. :tongue
