That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Thank you Hill for bailing us out. Would have been really tough to come away with nothing after 3 walks.

I normally don't put too much stock into 'clutch' stats, but Nieuwenhuis is so woefully bad with RISP. A .526 career OPS with a .179 BA with RISP. He should not be in an RBI spot in the lineup, ever.

Davies is getting every single borderline pitch while Scherzer had 3 pitches clearly in the strike zone called balls in the 1st inning.

Clearly it's because Davies is an ace and has earned those calls...Maddux style

I just want to reiterate that I'm really not a fan of those batting practice jerseys.

The only thing I like is the size of the lettering. You can actually read player names from the Loge level. Otherwise, the front is too bare, the color is odd, and the style of the lettering is off.

NIEUWENHUIS takes up at least a 180-degree arc on Kirk's back, on that jersey. That's visually overwhelming. Imagine if the Brewers had Saltalamacchia; there would be no room on that jersey style for the number.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

His name takes up a lot of space on the standard jerseys too. Maybe he should use "Kirk N." :)
