That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Broxton should either play every day or be DFA'ed. We know what he can do in AAA, either give him extended ABs to see what he can do in MLB or send him packing.

There is no reason that the 2016 Brewers should have a player like Kirk Nieuwenhuis playing every day.

Wow, really Eddie?

I think he would've been out. Maldonado is really, really slow.

Maybe, but I think you've got a better shot than the next guy reaching. If Bill is right and the only reason they didn't send him was because Braun was on deck, they should have sent him. Braun has been horrible in June.

True, but in the last 7 games he's around a 900 ops.

It's really a no win situation for Sedar. He sends Maldonado and he gets thrown out, people complain that the last out is made at home with a slow runner and Braun coming up. He doesn't send Maldonado and Braun makes an out and he's an idiot for not sending Maldonado.

I guess. I just can't believe a guy can't score on that. I have to believe 95% of guys would have been sent on that regardless of the situation especially against a fairly weak arm.

I think every player we have scores easily on that, except Maldonado.

He's closer to an 1.100 OPS, actually. In the nine games prior to today, Braun's batted .351. 13 for 37 with 4 doubles and 3 home runs, slashing .375 OBP/.703 SLG/ 1.078 OPS.

There are three things America will be known for 2000 years from now when they study this civilization: the Constitution, jazz music and baseball. They're the three most beautifully designed things this culture has ever produced. Gerald Early
