Yulieski Gourriel

With Wheeler shut down, Harvey all over the map, and Matz dealing with at least minor elbow stiffness, the Mets truly don't have the chips to bring in an impact bat.

I think they're the team for Gourriel, they can't stand pat, and they can't make trades for anyone beyond a band-aid.

He'll be a Dodger. They'll spend like 14million a year for 4years on him and hope this International signing works out.

They held a private workout of Gourriel and knowing how they work. Will outspend every team and buy him for a workout. Vs. trading for a proven like Ryan Braun at 15million per. They'll take the 10+million tryout and most likely fail.

Btw, whatever happened to Alex Guerrero? Wasn't he waived recently? Why didn't we pursue him for 3rd base?

Stunk in the MLB and has been even worse in the minors this season.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

He started out on fire last year and maybe the league got the book on him.

He's a guy if the price was very low I wouldn't mind acquiring for a bag of baseballs. He seems like a power guy that doesn't have the power to consistently get the ball out of Chavez Ravine. He's the proud owner of an .850 OPS away from that cavernous ballpark (to be fair, some of that damage was done in SF/SD, equally tough parks).
