That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I don't understand a day off the air on the road. They are there, they might as well work the game.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Can someone watching explain what happened.

Conor Gillaspie lines into force out, pitcher Jimmy Nelson to catcher Martin Maldonado. Buster Posey out at home. Matt Duffy scores. Jarrett Parker to 2nd. Conor Gillaspie advances to 1st on a throwing error by catcher Martin Maldonado. Two out.

I'm assuming the line drive hit Nelson in the glove, he dropped it and then threw home for the force out. Maldonado then tried to get the double play but made the throwing error allowing Duffy to score. Am I close?

Line drive off Nelson's stomach, he picks it up, throws to Maldonado for the force at home, Maldonado throws to first, the ball hits the runner and trickles away allowing the run to score.

I didn't get to see any of this one, and guess I'm glad I didn't bother.

More and more of the die hard fans (ie. people who have been Brewers fans all their lives, but aren't on boards like this) I talk to are realizing this team is going nowhere this year. A lot more seem open to trading Braun, Lucroy, etc.
