Brilliant. At this rate, Braun will be below .300 by the All Star break...hell, by next week. Ten days ago, he had the second highest average in the Majors. In the high .360s. Now he's at .316. He's clearly not right, but our idiot manager, who is sure to give him a rest day off when he's hitting the cover off the ball, is running him into the ground when he's obviously hurting.

Nieuwenhuis plays way, way too much, even with the limited options we have. He fields his position okay, but other than that he brings nothing to the table as an everyday guy.

It's too bad about Liriano in spring training. This would have been a really good year for him to get an extended chance.

Yeah, our usage of Braun is puzzling. When he's at his best, he gets plenty of time off. When he's struggling, he doesn't get any time off.

I'm going to the game on Sunday so I'm pretty confident he'll be off that day.

I guess not. This is flipping brutal.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

The sad part is that if had just slid properly he would have been fine. Simple fundamentals.

Same with Hill earlier in the game. Amazes me that these guys do some of these things.

Half of reviews are meaningless since they don't seem capable of factoring in any additional considerations to simple safe or out calls. Blocking the plate, pushing runners off the bag just too complicated for the review booth.

How was that poor fundamentals? He slid in to the bag and the fielder pushed his hand off.

He was too wide and slid too late - went past the bag a bit too far.

I'm not sure Scooter has the highest IQ. Either way, I'm to the point where I would rather have this game just over anyways. What horrible baseball and umpiring. I'm ready for bed.

I've never seen a fielder do more things wrong on one play than Villar did there. Seriously.

Drops line drive.

Doesn't immediately throw home.

Misses tag on runner.

Gets force out. (This was okay)

Gets guy in a rundown who is already out.... Instead of throwing to third.
