I'm getting conflicting information regarding Sean Manaea's handedness at the plate. ESPN has him as a righty, while Rotowire and Baseball Reference have him as a lefty. I guess we'll have to watch and see.

Manaea has ended each at bat with a smile even though the outcomes have sucked. BA said that Sean would play first base occasionally in high school. But when he played first, he'd be the guy who was removed from the batting order in favor of the designated hitter.

I think the seventh would have absolutely had to be Zach's last inning even if he was still at no hits. A similar pitch count after the eighth might have been another story.
