That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I totally fell for it when Scooter Gennett was our best player for like the first week of the season. Well, never thought he was our best, but thought maybe he was in line for a breakout year. So much for that.

As Santana ropes one to left, I feel as though most of his swing throughs are due to him not keeping his head on the ball.

That Villar is so hot right now.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Braun too. Not that he needs to always get a hit but understand that they are not going to give you much to hit in that situation. Don't help them out.

There's no ticker at the bottom of the screen on the telecast today. It's so much nicer that way.

Jeeze, didn't even notice.

Of course Luc triples. Not that he would've last inning. At least it's all tied up!

If the Phillies manager is actually trying to win games, he's an absolute moron. Why would he let Hellickson bat in the 4th with 1st and 3rd with two outs when the absolute best case scenario would be getting one more scoreless inning out of him?

The potential for another run or more far outweighs the benefit of maybe getting a scoreless inning out of him, which wasn't that likely to begin with considering he was facing the middle of the order, had nearly 90 pitches in 4 innings and in general just looked horrible today.

Villar had been an awesome pickup. When Arcia is called up, Villar will be starting somewhere. Probably at second, given how Scooter is playing.

I am SO excited for Arcia.. By no means rush him but it looks like he and Villar are going to be a heck of a combo.

Another quality start from Guerra too. Guy has been something for this Brewers team. 4 games under, 4 games back of a WC!
