DeMuth has sure gotten hot a 6 game hit streak and 4 of the games have been multi hit nights. The season stats still aren't great, but its so hard to figure out how much to adjust for the FSL.

I watched the T-Rats game, I'll have observations much later tonight.

Diaz & Diaz deal a loss to Kane County

Allemand goes 3-for-3 to keep his streaks rolling

By Chris Mehring / Wisconsin Timber Rattlers

Isan Diaz drove in both Wisconsin Timber Rattlers runs for a 2-0 win over the Kane County Cougars Friday night. (Wisconsin Timber Rattlers/Ann Mollica)

Wisconsin Boxscore

I've watched Miguel Diaz pitch 3 times now and I have no idea how could have possibly had such a recent cold streak. His FB has nice arm side run, it was up to 97 on the stadium gun, his breaking stuff is sharp and will occasionally flash plus, his control is average to above average depending on the start... It could just be that he's been at his best on TV, but damn he can be impressive. He was obviously tired in the 7th, right around 80 pitches, or perhaps he just lost it... maybe that's what happens to him, he'll lose his mechanics in short stretches. I wasn't paying close enough attention to see if his arm slot changed or not.

Not much to talk about offensively other than Blake Allemand's continued dominance. David Denson was noticeably pissed at himself after fly out to the warning track that allowed Monte Harrison to move up to 3rd, it looked like he felt he missed his pitch. Isan Diaz' HR was an opposite field shot over corner of the tall part of the wall in LF, I had to laugh when the left fielder put his hands on his head when it went out.

Bilxoi Boxscore

Jorge Ortega hurt himself with the walks in the 3rd, that was all it took in this one, but the bullpen was awesome.

Just 4 hits on the offensive side of things, a clunker.

Collymorr playing well at Brevard, keep the pressure on the Brewers not to send him down a level. Great to see Dillard make such a good start, now 4-0 with an ERA under 3. Would love to see him earn a September callup.

Seems like a few of the studs are starting to heat up. Can't wait for the baby Brewers to start up in a few weeks.
