That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Team hawing has been to 11 games this season and we've yet to see any starting pitcher besides Zach, Jimmy or Wily. Our games this homestand? Tonight, Sunday, and Tuesday. Not a complaint, just a statement.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Give or take a day, Domingo would be eligible to come off the DL about June 4th. I haven't seen an injury report, though, so it's tough to say what kind of progress he's making.

They're telling us that Will Smith could be activated during this homestand. That'd be cool.

They are going to have some really tough choices to make when Smith and Knebel return. Cappy doesn't really deserve to be DFA'ed when he comes off the DL, but he probably will be.

Chris Capuano stats are horrible. He deserves to be DFA.

I don't know if I would say horrible. He gives up too many walks and HRs, but his K rate is solid and ERA is passable (would be better if not for a bogus non-K call in his last outing). I would say he's the weak link in the pen though and someone has to go.

The passive approaches at the plate with RISP and 2 out are really frustrating. There's never a good time to strike out looking for the 3rd out but having 2 in scoring position is an especially bad time. Need to protect better than that.

Villar is approaching Gomez levels of baserunning incompetence. I never thought I would see a dumber baserunner in the majors but Villar is getting close.

As much flak as Villar rightfully catches for his baserunning, he ended up being safe and we wouldn't have scored without it, so it's hard to be too mad at him for that one.

1st and 2nd with 1 out isn't a bad situation to try a double steal.

Hill smacking dingers tonight!
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

What's the story behind tonight's uniforms?

Just guessing they're this year's fan design winner. I'm just tuning into the game so I'm not 100 percent sure on that.

It's been a few years since they did the fan design. I thought these were the retro BP uni's but I don't know.

The Reds are a complete disaster. A lot of people picked the Brewers to finish last in the NL Central before the season but I never knew why and still don't. The Brewers were better last year and were bringing back a better overall roster even with the trades of Gomez, Fiers, Lind and whoever else I might be missing.

Of course it doesn't help the Reds that Votto turned into a pumpkin and their bullpen is one of if not the worst in MLB history but still they never had the talent of the Brewers, however little talent that may be.

Just checked to see what was happening in the game. Broxton 2-2 with a double and a walk?

SKY IS FALLING

Don't worry. Nieuwenhuis or Presley will be in for him tomorrow.

Villar just keeps on keeping on.

Might have found our lead off hitter for a long time. Switch hitter, with speed who gets on base at a high rate.......I like it.

I was thinking about this last night. Seems like more than just a roleplayer for the Brewers for the next couple years. He just turned 25, so his best years are still ahead of him if he stays healthy and keeps playing like this.

This is obviously way too early to judge this trade of Villar for Sneed but, it won't be a bust on our end. Sneed is doing good so far in their AA so maybe this will be a trade that is good for both teams.

The Villar situation reminds me a little bit of the Segura situation a couple years ago. Segura looked like a total stud, then fell off a cliff never to return. (as a Brewer anyway) I'm not saying that Villar is Segura, but the situation could have the same results.

I hope this is the real Villar, and that he is a big part of this team's success for years to come, but it is just too darn early to make that call...

I also hope that if this is the real Villar, he bones up on situational base running... I have to think he has coaches in his ears telling him what to do and what not to do from this point on.
