Nope, afraid not, sorry friends and family of Sea Cow players...

Traded Brewers' farmhand LHP Anthony Banda will face the Shuckers when the series moves to Biloxi on Friday. He's having a heck of an age 22 season. OF Mitch Haniger's long-awaited better-than-average season is happening in 2016 at age 25 (.904 OPS).

Keep in mind if not for the original Gerardo Parra deal, Zach Davies isn't a Brewer today.

As usual, Nolan (@BrewerProspect) has some sweet vines taken from MiLB.TV, including several from Tuesday's high-scoring Colorado Springs contest.

He's a great follow on Twitter if you're on board there.

Here's one clip you'll see via Nolan, however the full YouTube version is below as well --

AUDIO via Brewers.com Wed. AM 5/25: Latest Brewers on Tap podcast, RHP Jimmy Nelson joins the podcast (04:15 minute mark) as does Brevard County Manatee Manager Joe Ayrault (10:10 minute mark)

Lane Grindle refers to Joe Ayrault as "Jay", can't find any other mention on the net of Joe being nicknamed "Jay", but still, nice to hear about several of the Manatees (OF Johnny Davis, RHP Bubba Derby, LHP Kodi Medeiros, RHP Cody Ponce, now-Shucker RHP Brandon Woodruff, and OF Clint Coulter).

Where have you gone Jorge Lopez?

The log from the six-run frame, except for the obviously annoying walks, isn't exactly littered with line drives, at least not on paper:

Sacramento Bottom of the 2nd

Andrew Susac reaches on a fielding error by third baseman Will Middlebrooks.

Mac Williamson doubles (11) on a ground ball to left fielder Eric Young Jr. Andrew Susac to 3rd.

Ryan Lollis grounds out to first baseman Garin Cecchini. Andrew Susac scores. Mac Williamson to 3rd.

Grant Green singles on a ground ball to left fielder Eric Young Jr. Mac Williamson scores.

Hak-Ju Lee walks. Grant Green to 2nd.

Clayton Blackburn walks. Grant Green to 3rd. Hak-Ju Lee to 2nd.

Gorkys Hernandez singles on a ground ball to center fielder Shane Peterson. Grant Green scores. Hak-Ju Lee scores. Clayton Blackburn to 2nd.

Ramiro Pena singles on a soft line drive to center fielder Shane Peterson. Clayton Blackburn to 3rd. Gorkys Hernandez to 2nd.

Mitch Delfino walks. Clayton Blackburn scores. Gorkys Hernandez to 3rd. Ramiro Pena to 2nd.

Andrew Susac grounds into a force out, fielded by third baseman Will Middlebrooks. Gorkys Hernandez scores. Ramiro Pena out at 3rd. Mitch Delfino to 2nd. Andrew Susac to 1st.

Mac Williamson flies out to left fielder Eric Young Jr.

Is it bad that I'm more excited over Gatewood walks than I am Gatewood HRs? Lol

Any notice that McDowell, a catcher, already has 8 steals?! Impressed!

Denson is just locked in. With this being his 3rd part year in Wisconsin, I could see a promotion in a month or 2.

Rubio getting hot! Hopefully he is finally starting to click & put tools together the way Belonis has been!

Proud member since 2003 (geez ha I was 14 then)

FORMERLY BrewCrewWS2008 and YoungGeezy don't even remember other names used

Well, the inning with all the sour action and all six runs was documented above; the summary indicated all six runs were earned, but the tally was four earned for Jorge Lopez...

Rattlers Build Big Lead and Hold On for Win

Rattlers led 9-0, Beat Clinton 9-8

By Chris Mehring / Wisconsin Timber Rattlers

Wisconsin Boxscore

This one got way too close for comfort after the pitching staff was staked to a 9-0 lead. Every pitcher gave up runs except for Nate Griep who lowered his ERA to an even 2.00 ERA. Jake Drossner wasn't helped by an error but at some point you need to pitch yourself out of trouble.

On the offensive Luis Aviles (2-5,2B), Max McDowell (2-4), Isan Diaz (2-4), and Carlos Belonis (2-4,2B,3B) had multi hit games for the T-Rats. This team has it ups and down defensively, lately it's been most downs, but at least they held on for the win.

Javier Betancourt was 3-for-4 in Wednesday night's loss at Mobile (Jason Clark)

Biloxi Boxscore

Obviously the pitching wasn't awesome here.

Last week I said Jacob Nottingham (2-4) and Javier Betancourt (3-4) would soon meet batting average wise and it happened today, both finished with a .236 AVE after their excellent performances at the plate. Nottingham has hits in 8 of his last 10 games.

Final: Brevard County 7, Clearwater 2

Rubio's round tripper sparks Brevard County

By Donald Rieber, Jr., Manatees Examiner

Elvis Rubio hit his second home run of the season on Wednesday, helping the Manatees to a 7-2 win over Clearwater.

***

Brevard County Box Score

Elvis Rubio hit his 3rd home run of the season counting his early season stint with the Timber Rattlers (2nd in Brevard County). Rubio's 2-for-4 night was his 5th multi hit effort in the last seven games. Rubio is 12-for-25 overall during that stretch and has a batting average since joining the Manatees of .317. Unfortunately he has drawn just one walk over those 61 plate appearances and has just two walks total on the season in 126 plate appearances..

Starting pitcher Angel Ventura struck out six and walked none over 4.2 innings pitched. He gave up four hits and just one earned run. In 34.1 innings pitched this season Ventura has struck out 43 and walked 12.

Brevard County Game Log

Malik Collymore tallied his first extra base hit since joining the Manatees, a double in the 4th inning. He scored later in the inning on a wild pitch.

Not just “at Night” anymore.
