Brewers source confirms club did not exceed 5% overage of its Draft pool, even with recent above-slot deals. So no lost future picks.

I noticed that Daniel brown was originally reported to have signed for slot money, then the signing was denied by the Brewers, then it was later reported again that he signed and I think we all assumed it was the originally reported slot deal. I just looked it up and his deal was 125k or half of the 250k slot, giving the crew an extra 125k that most of us didn't account for. It appears they used every single penny!

That's a good catch on the diminished bonus. When the Brewers said he hadn't signed yet, I wondered if there was an issue discovered in his physical; a smaller bonus lends credence to that theory.
