Defense? Check. Hitting for average? Check. Power? Check(ish.) Now draw some walks young man!

Power? Not check. 3 doubles so far? Brutal.

Also 3 triples, 4 HRs, and is slugging .450 again this season as he did last year. 21 year old whose body has yet to really start to mature. His natural swing alone offers a very good projection once he adds strength. By the time he hits 24-25 I could easily see him at 15 HRs a season with a whole bunch of doubles and triples. He's never going to be Correa or a young ARod with the bat but think Lindor is realistic and very livable

According to Clinton's gun, @TimberRattlers starting pitcher Miguel Diaz hit 96, 97, & 98 on three consecutive pitches in the 1st inning.

well that is not too shabby! Thankfully he has finally got healthy and is flashing why scouts were all over him after his AZ league debut a couple years ago!

It's amazing how consistent Arcia has been. OBP of .346/.347/.349 in '14-'16 and SLG of .392/.453/.449. The only odd note was SLG at Brevard County which is not strange at all in that park.

First game of road trip is a 5-3 loss at Clinton

By Chris Mehring / Wisconsin Timber Rattlers

Wisconsin Boxscore

David Denson (2-4,2B,BB), Jake Gatewood (2-5,2B), and Blake Allemand (2-4) carried the WI offense again. Monte Harrison got the night off and MH already covered Diaz who has dropped below .200 on the season.

As noted earlier in the threadMiguel Diaz can bring it, but he was off tonight, 2 of out his last 3 outings have been this type. Drake Owenby had a nice night in relief with 3 scoreless.

It's tough when you give up 5 runs on just 6 hits but wild pitches and balks will do that to you, free bases are the devil.

Late Rally Pushes Sky Sox To 9-6 Win

Shane Peterson scores four times to lead the way for Sky Sox

By Aaron Cheris / Colorado Springs Sky Sox

Colorado Springs Box Score

Matinee Wednesday at 2:05 Central with Jorge Lopez if you'd like to listen in.

Wow, Shane Peterson, fill that box score, just needed a triple; Nate Orf is the obvious answer to Colin Walsh, as our astute readers pointed out last week; the Will Middlebrooks ineptness tour continues, 0-for-5 with three K's (.501 OPS batting 5th in Rick Sweet's lineup)...

Colorado Springs Game Log

Taylor Jungmann - 5 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 5 BB, 1 HBP, 1 WP, 2 K, 1 HR, 91 pitches, 45 strikes; Progress? Not really...

Well, he did lower his ERA... :( He has been a puzzle wrapped in an enigma this year.
