That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

One has to think that Julio Teheran would be moved by Atlanta if they are truly in a full rebuild.

There's nothing like an unassisted double play at third base to clean up a bases loaded no out mess.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Seven consecutive strikeouts for Teherán, along with a 15 innings scoreless streak.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Brauny says "Say goodbye to that scoreless streak."

Aaron Hill's a busy guy tonight. First, it was the unassisted double play at third. Now, it's a great catch behind second on a shift.

Man o man Villar, little leaguers know not to go when the ball is hit in front of you. This guy makes so many base-running mistakes, it is getting pretty old already.

I find it hard to believe that a guy can progress to the major leagues, and still not know basic information on playing this game. It just makes no sense to make mistakes this frequently. I understand that all players make mistakes, but this is getting plain stupid.

Rock is even coaching him earlier in Braun's at bat, saying you have to just stay at 2nd and not try to steal a base when Braun and Lucroy are behind you...

Well for all the complaints, Villar just worked a 7 pitch walk, stole second and scored on a hit. All with two outs to take the lead in the eighth.

and Ed "windmill" Sedar doesn't help matters either...

He's terrible, though I'm sure you weren't talking about right now with Villar, gotta send him there with 2 outs. But yeah I agree on Sedar in general.

Nice 2 out rally to take the lead.

I feel really bad for Jimmy Nelson. Though he still clearly has room for improvement (far too many walks), he's given up only 3 earned runs over his last three starts (a 1.27 ERA over 21 1/3 IP), and he's got nothing to show for it. He'll be 0-1 in those starts. The Brewers have scored a grand total of two runs in those 21 1/3 innings.

Repeated idiotic baserunning seems to be a major problem wirh this team.

Wasn't bad baserunning by a Brewers team supposed to be because Ron Roenicke was such a bad manager?

Baserunning instincts are a skill just like other aspects of the game are. Some players just never are able to grasp well when trying to take an extra base makes sense and being able to judge well their speed compared to distance of a likely incoming throw.

Robin Yount for example was a fabulous baserunner even though he didn't steal a lot of bases. It was an innate skill which couldn't be taught.

Imagine how Teheran feels. He's 1-4 with a 2.57 ERA.

I may take my family to the game Thursday night. I'm going to feel like a chump paying more than a few bucks for good seats, considering how few people go to the games here.
