That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Man, I would love to be excited for this game but I look a the lineup and just cringe. No Lucroy or Braun? Going to be a struggle scoring runs today.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Flores is a last minute replacement for Santana. The lineup in the lead has been adjusted accordingly.

This is the game I figured we would get clobbered around so it really stinks that we blew that game last night. Probably making too big of a deal about it but I hate giving away games.

Junior Guerra has settled in nicely. Give us 6!

Good trivia question today…

Which three Wisconsin-born players have won the Rookie of the Year award?

The answer will be Harvey Kuenn, Tony Kubek, and Eric Hinske. The question was inspired by Hinske, who's the Cub's assistant hitting coach.

Junior Guerra taking advantage of the shadows. Mowing down the Cubs right now.

First four starts of his career and he gives the Brewers at least 6 each time out. Impressive.

Whenever I see Carter hit, I think, "I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid."

Am I the only one?

I keep waiting for Guerra to get smoked, but keeps pitching well. Nice pickup.

The center field well was designed to produce triples. It's always too bad when it produces them for the opponent, though.

You'd think we'd aim our hits better by now.

That wild pitch (should have been blocked) sucks but just love that Guerra went out and struck out 11 and gave up only 3 over 7 innings. 31 year old rookie doing work!
