I'm disgusted. I hate Madden, the cubs, the Brewers.

Yeah, fawn over Madden. The Cubs are one hit from being 0-2 in this series to a team with the lowest payroll in baseball, with their best hitter on the bench.

On a really maddening note, Khris Davis went yard again tonight. Four home runs in the last 24 hours; most home runs in the Majors since the start of last August. And, to boot, he walked twice. Look out, here comes a .300 OBP. Well, maybe not...

Just keep thinking about Orlando Arcia. That's what I'm looking forward to. But Jimmy really deserved to win tonight. Actually, he's deserved wins his last two outings. 15 1/3 IP against the Padres and Cubs, allowed 2 earned runs, got 1 run of support. One loss, one no decision.

There are three things America will be known for 2000 years from now when they study this civilization: the Constitution, jazz music and baseball. They're the three most beautifully designed things this culture has ever produced. Gerald Early

How Braun doesn't get one AB there on a 'rest night' I'll never understand.

Lower back stiffness not rest night I read.

So stiff that he couldn't take one AB with the bases loaded in a situation where he won't even have to run the bases?

I think that may be quite telling.

Adam, I understand, but what's the point of giving him a day off of activities and then asking him to step in with just a few bat arm-circles and swing away. I really wanted to see him bat, and I want to see us beat the Cubs, and I want to see us reach .500. But I'd rather have Braun feeling better tomorrow with a day game

Travis came into the AB with a .524 OPS and 9 career homers. Still, you throw him strikes.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.
