Corey Ray is my pick.

 

Second night in a row I broke a tie. I feel powerful.

 

I think the Tigers would be thrilled with Ray. They have an old and very unathletic team. They have a couple of interesting young arms in Fulmer and Norris. Plus the HS player they drafted last year - a pitcher - is doing well in A ball. Their hitting prospects are almost nonexistent. They need a guy like Ray so bad. It also helps that he's a college bat, so he'll (hopefully) move faster than some of the HS players.

 

A really athletic, impact position player is perfect for the team.

A few comments on our Top 10 Mock Draft.

 

- Thanks for so much participation. We had at least 11 voters every round - over 20 for the Brewers pick.

- Obviously, Perez's failed drug test would have affected our picks, but it will be interesting to see how we do in tomorrow's real MLB draft.

- I enjoyed this process. 10 rounds wasn't too much. t hope everyone else enjoyed things.

- Please share your feelings on how things went, if you want to do this again next year, suggestions to improve, etc.

reillymcshane, thanks for running that. I didn't vote (lack of knowledge on the players, lack of time to read), but it was fun reading everyone's opinions on it.

 

Makes today a bit more interesting.

I did vote, and I liked the exercise a lot.

 

1-It gavr me something to look forward to everyday during my lunch break.

 

2-I felt I was forced to pay attention to the draft more so I didn't look stupid to everyone by picking Alec Hansen or someone to go first overall.
