Scooter looks like he could have used more time on the DL. Looking horrible at the plate since his return.

Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. He looks lost the last few games.

I don't know what the rush was either. We had 2B covered pretty well in his absence.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

For everyone complaining about a lack of runs, just remember the Brewers of old wouldn't of even had most of these men on base. It will pay dividends eventually by being patient taking walks and the key hits will come.

I know Its the Padres but that was a nice start by Davies today.

FSSD had him as the Star of the Game before the 9th. They might want to think about JJ as well for working around the error just like on Friday. 2 very impressive saves.

No error on the play.

Correct, it was a "double."

Don't even get started with that bogus ruling.

It was the correct call by the scorer; Domingo didn't touch it.

There's no question that he lost the ball in the lights. The Padres announcers said that he took a "nonchalant approach" and made a "mistake," but they didn't say what he might have done differently to possibly make the catch.

It looked to me like Domingo ducked to avoid getting hit in the head.

Haven't seen it yet but he didn't touch it right? That's not a bogus ruling, it's the correct ruling.

I know it's correct, but I still think it's bogus. He missed it. To me, that's an error.

He didn't miss it. He couldn't see it. Big difference.

Calling it a "bogus ruling" would indicate that the scorer made an error. One can complain about the scoring rule, but I can't see how one can complain about the scorer's decision.
