Wouldn't be surprising to see the Timber Rattlers split the tandems for the doubleheader, and let Marcos Diplan and Freddy Peralta each start a seven-inning game, and push the David Burkhalter / Jordan Yamamoto tandem to Thursday, we'll see.

By the way, today is Yamamoto's 20th birthday. Enjoy, young man!

Some of those Sky Sox relievers have strung together some nice outings. Magnifico, Chapman, Barnes, Ross....even Dillard. Nice to see, since at least a couple of these guys will need to be called up at some point to eat some innings.

Keon Broxton is a flat out offensive force right now! Power, hits, on bases, walks.... Ks too much but boy...... If only it would translate

Broxton is certainly impressing in the minors, showing power, patience at the plate and stealing bases. Should be interesting to see when he gets his next shot.

Missed this but obviously we are thinking same thing lol

Colorado Springs Box Score

Although several other players had fine moments in this one (the ridiculous Manny Pina on base four more times -- 1.007 OPS), let's not kid ourselves in over-analysis, and just bask in the glory of Tim Dillard for a night...
