it is already getting to the point of disgust when I see the same commercials being played over and over. That lawnmower commercial and all the ones about the playing and winning slots for free are just beyond irritating already.

This rotation is something else. The first year I started watching the Brewers heavily was 2009 and this is giving me flashbacks. Except we have no offense to give someone a 14-7 record.

There were some real duds back in the early 2000s, but they at least had Sheets.

As I type this, another run. I don't remember exactly what the stat was, maybe it was least quality starts, but some pitching record for futility I heard we're on pace to just shatter it.

Here are the current ERAs of every starter for us this year besides Nelson.

Cravy - 6.52

Davies - 6.98

Jungmann - 9.15

Guerra - 7.20

Peralta - 7.50

Let that sink in for a moment. Over 5 is very bad. We don't have a starter besides Nelson under 6 and a half.

I recall the fan at the Metrodome who wept and pouted when her boyfriend threw back a home run ball. One of them was a Brewers fan and the other a Twins fan. The home run ball was hit by a player on her side. They kissed and made up when Bill came down from the booth and gave them an autographed ball.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I honestly think this team has a pretty good shot to get the #1 pick if this kind of pitching continues. If we were to trade Lucroy, Braun, and Carter maybe the people claiming we have a shot at the worst record in franchise history aren't that crazy.

I mean we are getting slapped around by the Reds on a daily basis(pitching wise)

They might have a shot at losing 100 games, but they'd have a REALLY hard time being worse than the Braves....

Jungmann is not getting any better in Colorado Springs.

I can't express enough how awful it is having an AAA affiliate in Colorado Springs. They can't get out of there soon enough. It doesn't make any sense for any MLB team besides the Rockies to have an affiliate in Colorado Springs.

I mean the offense is pretty shotty as it is. I can't fathom a Braun/Lucroy/Carter-less offense with this pitching staff.

And that should about wrap up any doubts on Lucroy's bat.

If there ever was. He has been hitting incredibly well for his standards this early in a season. Just wait till he heats up in June/July, yikes.

1000% agree with this. I have no idea why anyone would go near that place with a minor league baseball team. Seems to do more damage than good to young pitchers.

Scared the crap out of me last night when he took that foul ball straight in the mask...

It could happen just that easily, one more concussion makes him damaged goods, which is why I am all for trading him as soon as the right offer comes down the pipe...

Teams end up in Colorado Springs when they lose the game of musical chairs.

If you had to me that Braun, Lucroy, and Carter would be mashing near the middle of May as much as they are and Jeffress was perfect in save opportunities, I'd probably have guessed we were surprising some people, not on pace for 60 wins. I didn't think the rotation would be anything special but I never imagined they would be this atrocious.
