Back home from Milwaukee after the quick but busy two-day, two-game visit --

Really glad to see "the Selig Experience" on Wednesday.

Actually, had my own personal "Selig experience" on Tuesday, brief as it was. Was walking the downtown, and actually came upon the Pfister hotel -- the Angels' bus was outside as their departure time neared, did not stick around for that, not a memorabilia guy, but would have been cool to see.

Regardless, at this time, Bud emerges from the hotel, jumps into and drives his own car a valet had prepared, and I got to do my own quick shoutout.

Are there any updates on Cody Ponce? I thought I looked fairly well, but haven't seen anything.

This was the April 21st update --

Adam McCalvy noted the team continues to show extreme caution with RHP Cody Ponce (forearm).

Jake Gatewood starting to hit a bit.

I would like to see a walk....just one will suffice.

I hear you, but nice to see his average get over .250. Having his average floating around .200 and no walks was painful. At least he has something going for him now.

Jordan Yamamoto just didn't have it today, the game story covered it all.
