I love how this is the free game of the day on Yahoo but due to local blackout restrictions, we can't watch it. Isn't that supposed to be for games actually on TV? I get not having it on if the game is on FS Wisconsin because it takes viewers away from them but that's not the case today.

It's good for the soul to follow a game on GameDay once in a while.

Hernan!!!

I waiting for that comment :)

But in all seriousness, I like Perez.. I just wish he would take a walk or two.

Small sample, but Perez has the most pitches/AB on the team right now at 4.67. Even higher than Walsh (4.55)

That last pitch to Walsh sure looked like a strike, but if you're the ump, you gotta defer to Walsh.

haha, you sir win today's best post. This was good. Really good.

Davies did a great job, but there's nothing left in the pen to close this out. Or do we push a couple of arms further than we should.

Is this you?

I'd use Thornburg to face the middle of the order, then hope Boyer can close it out against the bottom of their order. A few extra runs would help!

How many days in a row has Thornburg pitched?

You are right, Thornburg is warming up.

That's too bad, Thornburg is one of the better pitchers on this staff and couldn't come through.

You know we're in trouble when a pitcher with an ERA near 6 is one of the better ones on the staff.

Thornburg started out great. Hasn't been of late. Stinks to blow this one but still a series win.

ERA for relievers this early in the season isn't really indicative of talent level. One or two bad outings can blow the ERA out of the water.
