MadThinker88, Santa Clara does basically host the San Jose Giants. I think the San Jose stadium was about 10 minutes from my dorm in college. Unless the San Jose squad no longer plays in the Cal League

 

That would explain why it did not stand out when I went thru the MiLB website. Yes, San Jose is still in the High A league (Lynchburg / Brevard County level equivalent)...

 

Still the point of a rival MLB team that is 50 miles away is a lot different then one that is 250 miles away.

 

Although Manfred is talking Montreal and Mexico City, the issues with Oakland and Tampa Bay still need to be worked out...
