Derek Johnson says that Zach has savvy beyond his years. I think that's a good description.

Another first inning taken away by a horrible call by the umpire. Braun yesterday, Scooter today. Changes the inning in a big way.

Ugh. Sucks to be Davies right now. Very little of this is his fault. But that's what happens when you don't have overpowering stuff. Batters put the ball in play and sometimes they are outs and sometimes this happens.

Beyond miserable defense. Davies hasn't been good, but the game shouldn't be over already.

Bad defense. Too many walks. Daives needs to pitch better if he wants to stay up.

Also, doesn't matter what pitcher or defense does if you keep scoring zero runs.

I know, rebuilding blah.. blah. But can we just not play Hill? He may provide us with the only quality defense on our infield but his at bats are painful to watch.

Centerfield and third base are black holes. It'll be interesting to see them addressed as we move along this season. Maybe they won't be but this teams lineup is not that bad if those two places can be helped.

Broxton sent down he struggled and is young but Hill is a vet makes some money and stuggles stays in the starting line up
