Today's a day where I wish we had the DH to keep Carter and Luc in the lineup. Maybe a rule change to a hybrid DH. You get to use it one day a week? lol.

I hope Garcia stinks today. Get up early and let Peralta find himself a bit.

Quality AB from Scooter against the lefty there. It helped that he was way high on the first three pitches but still, worked the count and made him throw pitches.

Scooter still pulls out really bad on off speed pitches. His front shoulder explodes open. He really needs to figure that out if he wants to be a regular against lefties.

Garcia is dealing early. No runs for the first inning from Peralta is a blessing.

Weather forecast looks good for an April day game in St. Louis. Got a feeling that there might just be clunkers from both starters today.

Don't know if the Brewers can outslug the Cardinals, but something like a 8-6 type of game seems possible.

Well, after two innings it looks like Garcia is on his game today. Hope Peralta can match.

Peralta should never throw a slider to a lefty. Never works.

It just dawned on me that Villar has sat on the bench the last two days. Why is a guy that has an OBP of about .450 on our bench?

I'd guess it has more to do with Rivera than Villar.

There was a report that he tweaked his ankle on a slide. Nothing major.
