Must say though, Diplan continues to be meh ever since he joined the organization. He's young, just want to see more from him if really is a top 15-20 prospect.

I don't know if 'meh" is fair for a 25% K rate and sub 4 era in the most hitter friendly league in pro ball at 3.2 years younger than league average.

Not so much.

Yeah Wisconsin is pretty neutral.... Not more of an advantage either way. Any teams out in Colorado, Neveda, Cali are your hitter leagues. (PCL & Cali League). Florida & south eastern leagues (FSL) tend to favor pitchers

Remember Lopez was so bad at Wisconsin they sent him all the way to the DSL. He showed nothing until BC. Diplan is showing his stuff but he is a young power thrower learning to pitch.

Edit thought you were talking MWL & not Pioneer League, my bad

It should be noted that Diplans first game was like 25 degrees with 30mph & snow..... Call after 5. Hard to fault him for struggling

Final: Wisconsin 10, Burlington 4

Rattlers slug their way to a win in Burlington

Isan Diaz has four hits, Harrison & Rubio add three hits a piece

By Chris Mehring / Wisconsin Timber Rattlers

Wisconsin Boxscore

Chris' thorough game story covers everything I would have here.

I'm not into making excuses for players, Marcus Diplan while young and inexperienced with cold weather just isn't finding the zone consistently enough at this point. He has plenty of stuff, it will be interesting to see how he progresses over the course of the season.

Not so much what? I'm sure there a places with greater park factors than Helena, but the Pioneer League routinely grades out as the

most offensive friendly league.

I thought you were talking about the MWL, I've never considered short season ball to be indicative of much.
