Big win nice to see Jungmann with a solid outing and the pen holding the game. Hopefully they will get more clutch hits and break open s few games.

I was watching the CBS Gametracker on my phone during the 2nd or 3rd inning. Jungmann was throwing his FB at 89 MPH, which was rather surprising. I thought last year he was sitting in the 92-94 MPH range?

 

Anyone else see that?

Looks like his four-seamer averaged 89.8 MPH today (SOURCE) and topped out at 91.5 MPH which appears to have been his second pitch of the game.

 

Last season Jungmann's four seamer averaged around 92.5 MPH for the majority of the season (SOURCE).

The temp might have kept the velocity down a bit.
