"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Record: 74 - 88 (4th)

Team MVP: Braun. Stays healthy enough to play 140-ish games and posts another .850-ish OPS (nothing bold about this prediction)

Home Runs: Carter and Santana both finish around 30

Wins: Nelson - 14/15

Bold predictions: Keon Broxton will struggle a bit, but I think he settles in as the every day CF and puts up an OPS around .725-.750 or thereabouts.

I'm not a gambling man but I'd love some betting action on the over/under .725 OPS for Santana. Put my savings account on the over.

With Phillips starting in AA & what really appears to be a no rush, baby approach to placement, I think September Call Up is as early as we will see him unfortunately.

I reconsidered and removed it. He'll be more like .750ish. They turn to Phillips because the hole there will be gaping.

With Santana's ability to walk at such a high rate, his OBP should at worse linger linger in the .350-.380 range somewhere. He will sit .100 over BA. With his natural ability to drive ball to all fields, I think he will at least sit around .800. Outside of winter ball this year, he has always produced with the hit tool, power tool, and walk ability. Think he is ready to translate it to big league success.

I don't know DS seems pretty happy with Pressley, Guez, EY Jr, Peterson all sitting ahead of him.... I'm very bitter about placements this season... Hopefully Reed gets a look before Phillips somewhere in OF. I'm in no rush for Arcia or Phillips, save them & their service time for future unless they are scortch earth. Leave them down. Arcia may be good for jersey sales & ticket sales but make sure he is 100% ready

Record: 79-83

Team MVP: Ryan Braun

HR Leaders: Braun 38, Carter 36, Santana 30, Lucroy 22

Wins: Jungmann, Nelson, Peralta 14 (tie)

Bold Predictions: Lucroy stays with Milwaukee, and the Brewers exercise the option. Middlebrooks, Cecchini, and Hill all slump and Gennett gets hurt, forcing Counsell to move Braun back to third base. Brent Suter is called up when Chase Anderson and Matt Garza fa, and proves to be a left-handed Mike Fiers. Michael Reed forces his way into the Milwaukee Brewers lineup after dominating in Colorado Springs.

There is no way the team can not have an MVP and Braun hits 32 HR~.

if he gets traded after hitting 32 homers by August 1, yes they can.
