Why Isn't the 1986-89 Road Jersey Available for Purchase?

Sorry if this has been discussed a lot before on here. Maybe a better question is, what do we have to do to get this jersey available from the pro shop? I'm not sure where it sits with the general public, or with the posters on this board, but it's one of my favorites. I know there was a few comments on this jersey with in the last few years but couldn't find it so wanted to start an actual thread.

The early 90's road grey button-down with the Milwaukee script underlined and the two striped sleeve is my absolute favorite Brewers jersey and I would be ecstatic if they went back to it instead of their current set. In the past (although not in the past two years) I have searched far and wide for that jersey. I have bid a couple of times on game worn versions of it, but never ended as the high bidder.

I did eventually land the 80's pullover grey jersey (pictured below), but I would still very much prefer the button-down early 90's jersey shown in the post above.

BTW, the picture below is from this ARTICLE from earlier this year about Paul Molitor's Mitchell and Ness throwback being a big seller in West Virginia apparently, although it's not the jersey shown.

Yes, that jersey is probably my all time favorite Brewers uni. I like it way better than the white pin stripe jersey that has become the ubiquitous Brewers "throwback" variation.

If someone from the Brewers is reading this, they should note there are plenty on this forum that would love to spend their money on a uniform replica of this.

They did it a few years ago, and had them for sale on MLB.com. I was lucky enough to grab one in my size, but it is a blank. It's not Mitchell and Ness, either. Definitely my favorite jersey I own even though for some odd reason it's not a Cool Base.

The flannel style jerseys aren't cool base. A lot of times(I know in the past) these one off jerseys aren't even Majestic brand.

It's a Majestic Authentic Collection. I'd go take a picture, but its Sunday and I'm being lazy. Take my word for it.

That is fine I am just saying a lot of them haven't been. There was one jersey(maybe a Bears one) that was made by some strange brand I had never heard of.

That's the powder blue one, though. I actually have one of those. Most of us in this thread are talking about the gray jersey.

My apologies. I didn't read every single post, but more looked at the pictures and it seemed like you were talking about the powder blues. Maybe they'll be coming back with the new logo on the horizon.

I was talking about the pullover one, but that one is really nice too. I'd take either at this point. I love them both! And yes, I am talking about grey, not powder blue, I have one of those.

I wrote to the Brewers Pro Shop and got a response that they'd take it in to consideration. Which means nothing probably, but it was nice not to get an auto email reply. If everyone on here writes in, we can probably get a little traction!!! Link this thread, whoever does it next!! Once we get the jersey in the pro shop, we can move on to designing their next uniform with a combo of this jersey and our new color scheme.

I am fortunate enough to have this jersey (though it is a Gary Sheffield jersey). My brother bought it for me as a Christmas gift a few years back. I am not sure exactly where he got it but my guess is Ebay as he is frequently buying Brewers stuff on there. I have to say that I get more compliments on that jersey (until people see the name on the back) than any other piece of Brewers gear that I own.
