If you are not doing anything tonight ...

Com'on down to the Arena.

South Dakota at Milwaukee Panthers

Should be a good game.

South Dakota (6-4) has already beaten Minnesota this year.

Milwaukee (8-3), well, you know who we just beat last week. Also came within 8 points at Notre Dame earlier this year.

If you missed the Sweet 16 team, come out and watch this version.

Best we've had since those years.

Just $10 gets you in the door.

Thanks for your time.

I was a little surprised to see them drop that game to Wright State (albeit in OT). They should get a chance to recover on Monday with NKU in town. Northern Kentucky just finished its transition to D1 and while they've come along way in 5 years (brand new $60 million on-campus arena), their roster probably isn't at the level of the rest of the Horizon League.

Wright State is turning out to be a lot better than anyone thought. They just beat Valpo a couple weeks ago.

So tonight again, if you're not doing anything ...

Two of the best point guards in nation are going head-to-head tonight at the Arena. (If we had a local paper that was worth a damn, you might have known this already.)

Milwaukee's Jordan Johnson vs Oakland's Kahlil Felder.

They sit #1 and #2 in the nation in assists.

Felder is also a big time scorer. Jordy scores when his team needs him to.

Oakland will try to get the Panthers to run up and down the court.

Panthers can run, but not like Oakland and will try to slow the Grizzlies down a little.

Should be a great match-up

8pm tonight.

If you can't make it down, it's also on Channel 24.

Random question for you jhart. Who are the Panthers going to rely on for their "bigs" next year and rebounding with Tiby and Panoske graduating? I like what they're going to have on the perimeter next year - just wondering what they'll have down low, existing guys, transfers, etc?

Tiby will be nearly impossible to replace. He will end up as one of our top 2 or 3 PF ever, if not #1.

The Prahl twins will get more time of course.

They just offered Norbertas Giga. A JUCO 7-footer from Lithuania.

And I know we have a couple other offers out to JUCO big men.

Wow. If you didn't catch the game last Friday night, you missed a really good college hoops game.

Panthers won't be back in town for three weeks now. Then we have four straight home games to close out the regular season.

So you still have a few games to come out and see the best point guard in the state and one of the best in the country, live and in person.

Including a HUGE game Friday, February 26th against conference leading Valpo.
