Really hope Montgomery stays. Give him a better title and a raise if necessary.

Ash going was pretty much a given, the new guy is going to want to pick his assistant. Martens is an interesting change since it is on the business side not player development side. I wonder facilities issues, particularly at AAA were a factor.

Initially, it wasn't really clear where this topic should be placed as it covered both Major and Minor League personnel. For that reason, it made sense to keep two topics open for the time being.

 

Once we know the futures of Ash, Scott Martens, and Minasian, we can go with the flow, depending on what happens.
