AUDIO via the Mike Heller Show Fri. 1/22: Scooter Gennett (go to the 1:45 minute mark) -- surely all these guys are going to love (yeah, sure) constantly being asked about Jonathan Lucroy's comments, as Scooter was here off the top, by the way.

And yes, Scooter kicked butt on his answer, "can't fully agree with what Lucroy said".

AUDIO Fri. 1/22: Ben Zobrist & Tim Dillard discuss how the Gospel impacts their lives as pro players and dispel the myth of a “Christian” baseball player.

The two players are together in a Nashville studio for this 47-minute discussion. Even if the subject matter listed as it is above may not be your cup of tea for a podcast, the discussion is actually quite entertaining, and yes, the @DimTillard persona chimes in at times to help the chat move along.

"In this podcast, former Vanderbilt Baseball pitching coach Derek Johnson shares strategies for helping pitchers compete one pitch at a time and reach their maximum potential through mental conditioning."

Stumbled upon that last one, recorded while Johnson was still at Vanderbilt and hadn't joined the Cubs as their minor league pitching coordinator as of yet (or most recently the Brewers as big league pitching coach), but if you're deep into pitching philosophies, worth your while...
