This happened a couple of days ago, but I didn't trip over the article until now. Matt Harvey missed a mandatory workout a couple of days ago and will be fined. That's definitely a lapse, but it's also a big "so what" in the grand scheme of things.

What I find amusing is that Gary Sheffield criticized him for potentially alienating his teammates. I suppose that if anyone knows about alienating teammates, it'd be Sheffield.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Is Rollins still hurt or did they actually make the shocking decision that it's better to play the superior player instead of the older one?

It is shocking as he is healthy. He had a .655 OPS in August and their hands were tied. Seager came up with September call ups and has hit 337/425/561 for a 986 OPS in over 100 ABs. That will bench a whole lot of people. And as you said - it's shocking they are actually playing him because most love the vets

Because the Utley slide that broke Tejada's leg was being discussed both here and in Random MLB news, I've move all of the posts to this topic:

Chase Utley slide breaks Rubén Tejada’s leg: confounding call on review, dirty play?

Gomez is some kind of player (at times) Just got a big RBI single off of our old friend Edinson V.

My old friend Rasmus (not) has been walked to death in this game. About time. Tell me Guys, what was the deal with Gomez? I thought he was a fan fave for the Brewers. Every team needs at least one firecracker guy I figure.

What do you mean?

Being a fan favorite doesn't stop one of your best trade chips from being moved when you're staring at a rebuild.

What are your thoughts on the Cardinals' hair?

Utterly uninspired. I hate the skinhead look championed by Chris Carpenter and Holliday. Half the team looked like neo nazi's! Of course there's always the guy that goes too far in the other direction like Jason Motte. (pictured below)

I got sling TV specifically so I could watch the MLB playoffs. I can watch games on fox with antenna and tbs and ESPN with sling. Then I realized almost all the AL games are on FS1. Is there any legal way to watch FS1 without having to purchase cable or satellite TV? Thanks for any tips.

This probably won't help you. The game is apparently available on the FOX Sports Go app, but you apparently need authentication from a television provider.

Any word on which channel might be carrying the Jays-Rangers while the Royals-Astros game is still going on?

EDIT: The Jays-Rangers are on MLB Network. FS1 will pick up the game when the Royals-Astros game ends.
