Things that are embellished don't become more and more true the closer you get to them.

That article reads like basically Ortiz is saying "I can't hit a ball there so therefore neither could Ted Williams have." Which is pretty arrogant and also hilarious, really. Papi is a very good hitter but he is not even close to being in Ted Williams' category.
