That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Theoretically, three lefties in a row isn't good lineup construction. If these guys were semi-dangerous hitters (which you'd kind of expect at the top of the order), the opposition could bring in a lefty specialist to face three hitters.

I just saw the highlights on ESPN. First thing they showed is Jean Segura idiotically going home on a play where he probably had a 5% chance of making it home. Not only that but Sedar had his hands up way before he got to third. Need to weed out these kind of players...no excuse.

What they probably didn't show on the replay was Bryant getting in Segura's way on the way to 3B which slowed him down a bit. Bryant was on the ground and Segura had to run around him. I'm pretty sure that Sedar was waving him in - his arm was up because he was pointing at Bryant asking for an obstruction call.

I haven't seen the play but I don't think you can call obstruction on that because the fielder has the right of way when fielding the ball.

Also, I'm loving Davies. In a day and age when 90% of pitching is just throwing it hard and hoping the batter misses, he pitches. Everything is down and he changes speeds. Yes, I know that generally speaking the harder you throw the better you will do but there is a place in the game for guys like him. Especially when all hitters see now is gas, it's tough to wait back on the low 90's fastball and even tougher when that changeup is 10 MPH slower.
