That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Why can't Adam Lind be 5 years younger? It's so nice to watch a hitter instead of a the hackers the Brewers have been rolling out for years.

At least he's stayed healthy and had a good season. He only has one year left on his contract, but it's cheap given his production. So hopefully whoever our new GM ends up being, that guy shops Lind in the offseason and a team needing a bat at first or DH offers up a pretty good prospect for him, preferably a corner infielder or pitcher.

Time Warner has been fine for me.

Rodríguez just blew the save. Earlier, Braun's misguided stolen base attempt cost the Brewers a run.

I can't believe Hurdle left Liz in after the 12th. Yeah you don't want to use Watson and Melancon if you don't have to but you have a chance to get within 3.5 games of the division and avoid a one game playoff and you're using a guy that had to pitch in Korea because he was so bad in MLB and isn't very good now.

Yeah, Melancon has pitched two days in a row and Watson threw 37 pitches yesterday but you figure that out tomorrow and play to win tonight in a really important game for your team. I'd be furious if I was a Pirates fan watching a scrub like Liz come in for two innings, give up 3 runs and basically blow a great chance for my team to get closer in the division.

Pirates fans must really hate the Brewers.

Just goes to show how unpredictable and random baseball can be at times. Here the Pirates have the 2nd best record in all of baseball, but any chance that they desperately want of catching the Cardinals, winning the division, and thus avoiding the one game Wild Card play in game arguably could have been killed by losing 7 straight to the last place Brewers.

They are going to hate us even more if the Pirates end up losing the division by only say two games and then lose to the Cubs in the Wild Card game.

They should hate their own team for losing to a crap team like the Brewers so many times.

Lohse up in the pen for the save. Weird thing to see.

Maybe going to the pen could be a career extender for a guy like Lohse? Maybe he has no interest but it could possibly be a great thing for a guy that knows how to attack the strike zone.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Braun's misguided stolen base attempt cost the Brewers a run.

I wouldn't characterize it as "misguided". It literally took a perfect throw to get him. If the throw is a foot higher, lower, or to the left he isn't tagged out. You can't anticipate two consecutive hits from RHB against Hughes. With two out you have to put the runner in scoring position. The odds of making a perfect throw like that to get Braun are no more than 10%; there's a 90% chance he makes it.
